Petr Cech reflects on his record-breaking feats with both Chelsea and Arsenal
Petr Cech has taken to social media to express his pride at holding the Guinness World Record for the most clean sheets in the Premier League and winning the golden glove with two clubs.
The Arsenal goalkeeper has been a regular fixture in the Gunners’ team since arriving at the north London club from bitter rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2015.
Cech had previously enjoyed a trophy laden spell with Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea before opting to move to The Emirates in June 2015.
The Czech Republic international is widely regarded to be one of the finest goalkeepers to have graced the Premier League.
And the shot-stopper looked to be in good spirits as he posted the picture above of himself with his awards on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday.
He wrote the caption: “Great to be in the Guiness World Records for the most clean sheets in @premierleague & Golden Gloves with two clubs #GWR2017 #AFC #CFC”
Cech will be hoping to start for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
