Mesut Ozil celebrates helping Germany secure an impressive 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic

Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Germany claim a 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic in World Cup qualifying on Saturday night.

Thomas Muller scored either side of Toni Kroos’ goal to hand the defending world champions a convincing win and take them a step closer towards qualification for the 2018 tournament in Russia.

Arsenal star Ozil played the full 90 minutes to help his national team pick up the three points on Saturday night.

And the playmaker used his personal Instagram account to celebrate the victory after helping his team-mates pick up the three points.

Ozil posted the picture above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “Top-class performance from the whole team on our #RoadToRussia👍😉 #GERCZE #FirstNeverFollows #ACE16 @DFB_Team.”

The 27-year-old will be expecting to feature for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Swansea City next Saturday afternoon.
