Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas took to social media to reflect on his Arsenal days this week...
Cesc Fabregas has taken to social media to reveal that he was clearly feeling in a reflective mood this week.
The Chelsea midfielder has been training at the west London club’s Cobham base in recent days after he was not included in the Spain squad for their recent World Cup qualifiers against Italy and Albania.
Fabregas first broke into the scene in the Premier League during his eight-year spell at Arsenal, with the midfielder winning the PFA young player of the year award in 2008.
And the 29-year-old former Barcelona star used his personal Instagram account to reflect on that achievement on Tuesday.
He posted the picture above on the app and wrote: “#TB #YPOTY”
Fabregas will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against defending champions Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.
The west London side were 2-0 winners over Hull City last time out.
