Didier Drogba has taken to social media to reveal his delight at seeing Kurt Zouma back in action for Chelsea’s development side.

The French defender played from the start during Monday night’s 2-2 draw with Derby County as the centre-half got some much-needed minutes of football under his belt.

Zouma has been out of action for many months after suffering a serious knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge back in February.

The defender is yet to make a competitive appearance under new boss Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, but the France international is now closing in on a return.

And Chelsea legend Drogba clearly holds Zouma in high regard, if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Drogba shared the picture above on his personal account and wrote: “The boss @kurtzouma is back and for for those who don’t speak English…..The Boss @kurtzouma is back!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 😂😜 #zoumzoum #fils #monsieurmuscles”
