Granit Xhaka wants to inspire young Arsenal supporters

Granit Xhaka is certainly staying grounded despite his move to Arsenal.

The Switzerland international is one of the north London club’s biggest stars following his £33m move to the Emirates Stadium from Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer transfer window.

Xhaka scored his first Arsenal goal in a 4-1 win at Hull City before the 23-year-old midfielder netted again a few days later in a 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest in the League Cup.

The defensive midfielder is currently serving a three-game ban following his straight red card in the north London side’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

However, Xhaka’s suspension has given the summer signing a chance to get to know his new supporters a bit better – something which excited the Arsenal midfielder.

Xhaka posted the above photo and wrote the following caption on his Instagram page:

“👉I will always find time to inspire others to follow their dream, especially the kids. Football is more than just a game.🎉 #Arsenal
