John Terry has taken to social media to deliver a glimpse into the nutritional habits of a Premier League footballer.

The Chelsea centre-half is currently sidelined with an ankle injury but will be hoping to make his return to action after the international break when the Blues host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

Terry has been working hard on his fitness levels at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground in recent days as he bids to return to action for the west London club.

And the veteran defender used his personal Instagram account to deliver an insight into his eating habits on Tuesday.

Terry shared the picture above on the app and wrote: Breakfast, 3 poached Eggs, Half an Avacado, 1 Slice of Brown Toast, 1 Latte 👊🏻”

Chelsea were 2-0 winners over Hull City at the weekend as they bounced back to winning ways following back to back defeats by Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte’s side are currently seventh in the Premier League table with 13 points.
