The Manchester United midfielder is determined to make an impression at Old Trafford
Memphis Depay looked in a determined mood to win back a place in Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side ahead of Monday’s trip to Liverpool.
The Netherlands international has struggled to make an impression under Louis van Gaal’s replacement so far this season.
The former PSV Eindhoven winger has been limited to two substitute appearances against Watford, Bournemouth and Stoke City in the 2016-17 campaign.
However, Depay’s enthusiasm hasn’t been dampened despite his lack of first-team football under Mourinho.
The 22-year-old posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“No time to relax, keep on running and working #GGMU #ManchesterUnited 💪🏼🏃🏽🏋🏽🏊🏼⚽”
Depay has only played just 12 minutes of Premier League football so far this season.
The Dutch winger moved to United in a £25m deal from Eredivisie champions PSV in the 2015 summer transfer window under Van Gaal.
United will make the short trip to bitter rivals Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday night.
