Mohamed Elneny is staying positive after Arsenal's goalless draw with Middlesbrough

Mohamed Elneny was left looking for the positives after Arsenal’s frustrating goalless draw with Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Egypt international played 74 minutes against Boro at The Emirates but was unable to help his team-mates break down their stubborn opponents in north London.

The draw brought Arsenal’s six-game winning run in the Premier League to an end and Elneny will be hoping to be involved when the Gunners return to League Cup action on Tuesday night with a home clash against Reading.

However the midfielder was clearly in a philosophical mood on Saturday evening, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

Elneny shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Thanks Allah for everything. Not the best result but need to keep our focus on our next run of games #COYG”

Arsenal are aiming to challenge for silverware on all fronts this season as the Gunners look to improve on their second-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
