Eduardo enjoyed a long walk on the beach as the goalkeeper switched off from a slow start to his Chelsea career.

The Portuguese shot stopper is still waiting to make his first appearance for Chelsea after the 34-year-old completed a move to Stamford Bridge from the Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv.

Eduardo signed a one-year deal with the west London club in August as the Portugal international looks to rival Belgium international Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic for a starting spot.

And the veteran goalkeeper went for a walk on the beach with one of his children as the Chelsea signing took a break from Premier League football ahead of its resumption next weekend.

Eduardo posted the above photo on his Instagram page on Sunday afternoon ahead of Chelsea’s home clash against reigning Premier League champions Leicester City next weekend.
