N’Golo Kante has taken to social media to reveal his delight at playing a big part in Chelsea’s 4-0 thrashing of Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues ran riot against the Red Devils as they made it an uncomfortable return to Stamford Bridge for Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea raced into an early lead thanks to Pedro Rodriguez’s opener, before goals from Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and Kante wrapped up a comfortable win for Antonio Conte’s men.

The victory lifted the Blues up to within a point of leaders Manchester City after nine games of the new campaign.

And midfielder Kante, who joined the west London club from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, was clearly thrilled with the result after the final whistle.

Kante shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Another great team performance tonight! So happy to play with my #CFC mates”
