Loris Karius wasted no time taking to Instagram to reflect on Liverpool’s 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday evening.

The Reds moved level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City and second-placed Arsenal thanks to a dominant performance against the Baggies.

Liverpool made the breakthrough in the 20th minute thanks to Sadio Mane’s superb volley past England international Ben Foster in West Brom’s goal.

The Merseyside club doubled their advantage 15 minutes later after Philippe Coutinho’s close-range finish snuck past Foster at his near post.

Karius helped Liverpool keep their first clean sheet of the season on Monday night after a goalless draw with Manchester United at Anfield.

However, West Brom’s Scotland international Gareth McAuley fired past the Liverpool summer signing from a set-piece with 10 minutes remaining.

The defender’s consolation couldn’t dampen Karius’ mood – though. The Liverpool number one posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Yesss! Home win and now we’re tied at the top of the @premierleague table!⚽ #LIVWBA #LFC #YNWA @liverpoolfc”

Liverpool signed Karius in a £4.7m deal from Bundesliga Mainz in the summer transfer window.
