Paul Pogba has taken to social media to insist that he was proud of Manchester United’s resilient performance in their goalless draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night.

The Red Devils produced a solid defensive display on Merseyside as they successfully kept the Reds at bay at Anfield and earned a valuable point from their clash against their bitter local rivals.

The draw left United five points behind leaders Manchester City heading into their crunch trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the Premier League next weekend.

And Pogba has taken to social media to reveal his delight at playing a part in Monday’s performance against Liverpool.

The France midfielder shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Good game, hard work, good team spirit… on to the next one 👊🏿 @manchesterunited #mufc”

Manchester United have drawn their last two games after picking up points against Stoke City and Liverpool.
