Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial did not appear to be letting Manchester United’s disappointing performance against Burnley in the Premier League get them down on Saturday.

The pair were not included in the matchday squad due to fitness issues but were both in the stands at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s men played out a frustrating goalless draw.

The result means that United have not won in their last four outings in the Premier League and left Mourinho’s men eight points behind leaders Manchester City after 10 games.

However, summer signing Mkhitaryan looked like he was keeping himself upbeat with injured striker Martial during Saturday’s game.

Manchester United return to Europa League action on Thursday night with a trip to Turkey to take on Fenerbahce.

The Red Devils finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season before the Dutchman was sacked and replaced by Mourinho back in May.
