Piers Morgan has taken to social media to claim that Olivier Giroud will no longer be a regular starter in the Arsenal side given the way that the Gunners are performing without him.

Goals from Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil helped Arsenal secure a 3-2 win over Swansea City in the Premier League at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon as Arsene Wenger’s men made it six wins in a row in the Premier League.

The victory lifted Arsenal up to second place in the Premier League table and level on points with leaders Manchester City after eight games of the new campaign.

Giroud is currently sidelined with an injury but will be hoping to make his comeback in the coming days.

However, celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan is predicting that the France international will have a big fight on his hands if he wants to win his place back in the Gunners’ team.

Morgan tweeted after Saturday’s result:

Arsenal now turn their attentions back to Champions League affairs and their home clash against Ludogorets on Wednesday night.
