Piers Morgan shuts down Arsenal tweet about Olivier Giroud

The celebrity Arsenal fan does not want to see the striker get back into the starting line-up at The Emirates

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to suggest that Olivier Giroud cannot be a regular fixture in the Arsenal team if the Gunners want to win the Premier League this season.

The striker has not made a Premier League appearance for the Gunners since the opening weekend of the season due to injury but is now close to returning to full fitness.

Alexis Sanchez has been starring in the central striking role for the Gunners in Giroud’s absence, leading to suggestions that the French forward could struggle to break back into the team once fully fit.

And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan, who is never one to hold back on his thoughts about Arsenal on social media, used his personal Twitter account to voice his objections to Giroud making it back into the team.

In response to a tweet from Arsenal’s official account, Morgan bluntly replied:
