Piers Morgan tells Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal if this happens

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to tell Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal if he fails to guide the Gunners to Premier League or Champions League glory this season.

The north London side have earned plenty of praise for their attacking and impressive displays in recent weeks.

Wenger’s men have bounced back from the disappointment of losing their opening game of the season in the Premier League to Liverpool and now look like they are hitting top gear under the Frenchman.

The Gunners boss has been heavily criticised in recent seasons for failing to guide the north London club to the top flight trophy.

Arsenal have not lifted the Premier League trophy since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season.

Wenger is also yet to steer the north Londoners to Champions League glory, coming closest in 2006 when they were runners-up against Barcelona.

And Morgan has asked Wenger to step down if he fails again this year.

Responding on Twitter to a headline which read: “Arsene Wenger: Arsenal are finally ready to win the Premier League”, Morgan tweeted:
