Ray Parlour: Why Chelsea look happier ahead of Man United clash
The Arsenal legend runs the rule over Chelsea's recent performances
Ray Parlour says Antonio Conte has found the right balance in his Chelsea team.
The Blues have produced some good form in recent weeks after a 2-0 win at Hull City was followed by a 3-0 victory over defending Premier League champions Leicester City last weekend.
Chelsea were touted as potential Premier League title winners earlier this season after three successive victories over West Ham, Watford and Burnley to start their Premier League campaign.
However, the Blues failed to win a Premier League in September after a 2-2 draw at Swansea City was followed by successive losses to title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
Parlour, who famously scored against Chelsea in Arsenal’s 2-0 win in the FA Cup final in 2002, believes Conte has struck the right balance ahead of the visit of Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Parlour told Alan Brazil’s Up Front podcast: “They’ve got the balance right now.. They seem happier with that. Great result for Chelsea. They’ve got to carry that on now and get back into the top four.”
Chelsea are in fifth place in the Premier League table and three points behind leaders Manchester City.
United are a further two points adrift of the west London side.
