The Reds ran riot at Selhurst Park as they claimed a 4-2 win over Palace to keep their Premier League title bid on track.

Goals from Emre Can, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino handed Liverpool the three points to keep them level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

However, Savage has expressed his doubts about new Reds goalkeeper Loris Karius after he conceded two goals against the Eagles.

Karius was brought to Anfield from Mainz in the summer transfer window to add competition for Simon Mignolet.

And former midfielder Savage does not appear to be convinced by the German’s displays so far for the Reds.

Savage tweeted:

Liverpool dominated proceedings at Selhurst Park and enjoyed 57 per cent of possession against the Eagles. The Reds also had nine shots on target.
