Andy Hinchcliffe has admitted that he has been extremely impressed by Heung-Min Son’s performances for Tottenham this season.

The South Korea international has been one of the north London club’s standout performers so far this season to help Mauricio Pochettino’s men make a strong start to the new campaign.

Son has scored five times in six games for Spurs so far this term to help Mauricio Pochettino’s men up to second place in the Premier League table and just a point behind leaders Manchester City.

Son has earned plenty of praise for his performances so far this season after being linked with a transfer away from Tottenham during the summer months.

And Hinchcliffe has been very impressed by what he has seen from the 24-year-old so far this season.

Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday morning, Hinchcliffe said: “For Tottenham, Son has been outstanding.

“He’s on fire. I’ve seen him play two or three times, and he’s been outstanding.”

Son will be hoping to feature for Spurs when Tottenham return to action after the international break with a trip to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

The Lilywhites beat Manchester City 2-0 in their most recent outing.
