Thierry Henry says Eden Hazard is unplayable when the Chelsea forward is in top form.

The Belgium international scored the west London side’s second goal in a 3-0 victory over defending Premier League champions Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Hazard has now scored three goals in eight Premier League games under Antonio Conte after finding some semblance of form following a disastrous 2015-16 Premier League campaign.

Former Arsenal striker Henry has been working with the Chelsea forward in his capacity as Belgium’s assistant manager.

And the retired France legend delivered a glowing verdict on Hazard ahead of Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Leicester on Saturday afternoon.

“We are talking about that a guy who at the top of his game is unplayable,” Henry told Sky Sports.

Hazard scored 14 times in 38 Premier League games as Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side won the title in 2015.

The Belgian forward was also named the PFA player of the year after a dominant Premier League campaign.

Discussing his best position, Henry stated that Hazard can produce influential performances through the middle or on either wing.

“He is a player who can play on the left, on the right and in the centre,” Henry added.

“He can play everywhere. The only thing is if he plays as a number 10, he needs to do something defensively.”
