Thierry Henry reacts to Arsenal’s 1-0 win at Burnley

Thierry Henry has his say after Arsenal's dramatic 1-0 victory at Burnley on Sunday afternoon

Thierry Henry insisted that all that counted was the three points after Arsenal recorded a dramatic 1-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.

The visitors looked set to have to settle for point after Burnley defended strongly throughout the game.

But substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain bundled the ball over the line deep into stoppage time to hand the north London side all three points and boost their Premier League title hopes.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Henry said: “I don’t know if you can say they deserved it in terms of the way they played, but those are the types of games you have to win if you want to be champions.

“No one will remember in May how you won against Burnley – it’s three points. I don’t think they played amazingly but those are the types of games you have to win.”

The win left Arsenal in third place in the Premier League table and just two points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new season.
