Watch: Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin promises not to pick up the phone if Barcelona call

Arsenal star Hector Bellerin says he would ignore Barcelona's call...

Hector Bellerin has jokingly promised Arsenal fans that he would not answer the phone if Barcelona came calling.

The right-back’s future at The Emirates has been a source of speculation in recent months following his rise to prominence in the Arsenal team.

Bellerin has earned plenty of praise for his performances since breaking into the Arsenal first team last season and has made the right-back spot his own at Emirates Stadium.

The defender joined Arsenal from Barcelona and it has been suggested that a move back to the Camp Nou could be on the cards for Bellerin in the future.

However, the Spaniard has gone some way towards reassuring Arsenal fans about his future by insisting that he would ignore Barcelona’s call.

Bellerin said in an interview with DW Channel: “If Barcelona contact me right now? I won’t pick up the phone!”
