Zlatan Ibrahimovic comments on Man United form ahead of Chelsea trip

Zlatan Ibrahimovic comments on Manchester United's form ahead of their crunch clash against Chelsea

Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes that it is only a matter of time before Manchester United click into gear under new manager Jose Mourinho.

The Swedish striker helped United recored a goalless draw at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday night as the Red Devils managed to successfully contain the home side’s attacking threat on Merseyside.

United have made something of a stuttering start to life under new boss Mourinho, and suffered Premier League defeats by Watford and Manchester City after winning their opening four games of the season.

The Red Devils now turn their attentions towards their crunch Premier League trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

And the 35-year-old forward believes that it won’t be long before Mourinho’s men find their rhythm under their new boss.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Ibrahimovic said: “I think we’re working very hard and just need to find a click among each other.

“Once we find that click, it makes it easy for ourselves. We’ll find each other much easier and the balance of defending and attacking will be much easier.

“So many things are new and we are working hard. At the same time, we haven’t had a lot of luck.

“Against Stoke [a 1-1 draw], we could have won the game very easily but we got one point and so on and so on. We need to work hard and stay focused and with a little bit of luck it will come.”
