The Spanish striker – who joined Arsenal in the summer from Deportivo La Coruna – was ruled out of action for around six weeks after suffering an ankle injury during the EFL Cup win over Reading in October.
However, the forward has now taken to social media to reveal that he has already begun training outdoors as he bids to make himself available for selection as soon as possible.
Perez posted the following update on his personal Twitter account:
Trabajando ya sobre el cesped. Working already on the pitch. On track for an early recovery. 💪 https://t.co/J3vvVZxJWn

The news will come as a boost to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is preparing his team for their crunch clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend.
The Gunners head into the game looking to return to winning ways after their 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates last weekend.
