Jamie Redknapp states prediction for Arsenal v Bournemouth

Jamie Redknapp is backing Arsenal to ease to victory over Bournemouth at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners will be looking to make a swift return to winning ways against the Cherries after losing ground on their title rivals in recent weeks.

Arsenal were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw with title rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby at The Emirates earlier this month.

Wenger’s side were fortunate to rescue a point at Old Trafford last weekend after Olivier Giroud’s late equaliser from the bench salvaged a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

The Gunners started the weekend four points off the top ahead of the visit of Bournemouth as Wenger’s side look to get their title bid back on track.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Redknapp is confident that Arsenal will get the job done against Howe’s men.

“I’m really looking forward to this one. Arsenal have the extra quality and I think they will win, but Bournemouth pose a real threat and I think it will be a narrow game,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

“It’s a good test for Wenger’s players. They will be going for three points to build on their draw at Old Trafford and keep up their title challenge.
