Michael Owen states his prediction for Arsenal v Bournemouth

Michael Owen looks ahead to Arsenal's clash with Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon

Michael Owen is backing Arsenal to return to winning ways by beating Bournemouth at The Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners head into the game looking to get their season back on track after three successive draws in all competitions.

Arsenal were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Paris Saint-Germain at The Emirates in the Champions League on Wednesday night to leave them looking likely to finish second in their group.

That stalemate followed 1-1 draws against both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the Premier League for the Gunners.

However, former Liverpool striker Owen is fully expecting to see the Gunners get back to winning ways by beating Bournemouth on Sunday.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “The Gunners were also fortunate to get a point at Old Trafford last weekend but should have enough to keep the points against the Cherries, despite the latter having picked up an excellent win at Stoke last weekend.”
