Angel Di Maria states his prediction for Arsenal v PSG
Angel Di Maria looks ahead to Arsenal's clash with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League
Angel Di Maria has warned Arsenal that Paris Saint-Germain will learn from their mistakes as they prepare for their crunch Champions League clash at The Emirates.
Arsenal came from a goal down to earn a point when the two sides last met back in September, when Alexis Sanchez drilled home an equaliser despite the Gunners being second best for much of the night at Parc des Princes.
With both Arsenal and PSG having both already booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, Wednesday’s game could go a long way towards deciding which team will top the group.
And Di Maria feels that the French side simply have to improve their form in front of goal if they want to have a chance against Arsene Wenger’s men.
Speaking in an interview with Uefa.com, Di Maria said: “We played very well, we had opportunities to win. We played better than Arsenal, but only failed to score more goals.
“I do not think we learned much from the game. We have a very strong team with some quality players. If we do our job, we have a chance to fulfil our goal.”
