Arsene Wenger confirms latest Arsenal injury blows ahead of Man United trip
Arsene Wenger reveals that Hector Bellerin is out for at least four weeks with an ankle injury
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that both Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla will miss Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United due to injury.
Wenger is currently gearing his side up for their crunch trip to Old Trafford this weekend as the Gunners look to secure victory over their old foes.
However, Arsenal will definitely be without both Bellerin and Cazorla, after Wenger confirmed that the Spaniards are currently sidelined with injury.
Full-back Bellerin picked up an ankle problem during the closing stages of Tottenham’s 1-1 draw at Arsenal before the international break.
Cazorla, meanwhile, has been sidelined since suffering an Achilles injury against Ludogorets Razgrad back in September.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Thursday morning, Wenger said of Bellerin: “Hector is out for four weeks. He got injured in the last 10 seconds against Spurs after a very strong tackle by Danny Rose.”
And he added of Cazorla: “Cazorla is still out. I don’t know exactly how long for. He’s still not even out in training yet.”
