Arsene Wenger makes honest admission about Arsenal form
Arsene Wenger admits his Arsenal side must quickly rediscover their attacking prowess
Arsene Wenger has admitted that his Arsenal side must quickly start to rediscover their attacking prowess if they want to get back to winning ways.
The north London side were held to their third successive draw in all competitions on Wednesday night as PSG secured a 2-2 draw at The Emirates in the Champions League.
Arsenal have also been held to successive draws in the Premier League by both Manchester United and Arsenal.
Wenger’s men have been criticised for failing to produce attacking performances in recent games.
And the Arsenal manager is wary of his side’s failures in front of goal in recent weeks as he prepares his team for the visit of Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday morning, Wenger said: “I believe we have to find our game back.
“We didn’t lose but if you do not create, that will not last.
“It’s important that we find our simplicity, speed and pacy combinations back. We missed that fluency, and that security in our decision-making that made us dangerous in the final third a little bit. That is what is at stake for us.
“It depends now what we will do for the last weeks of November to assess it [as a month]. But at the moment, we haven’t lost. We had difficult games: Tottenham, Man United and of course Paris Saint-Germain. It’s three difficult games in a row but let’s see how we finish November.”
Arsenal are looking to win the Premier League title for the first time since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season.
