Eden Hazard discusses his new role at Chelsea under Antonio Conte
Eden Hazard explains how he is finding life under new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte this season
Eden Hazard has lifted the lid on his new role at Chelsea under manager Antonio Conte.
The Belgian playmaker has been in much better form for the Blues this season after a campaign to forget with the west London side last term.
Hazard struggled for form and fitness last season as the west London side ended up in 10th place in the Premier League table and without a trophy.
However, the 25-year-old seems to be on his way towards rediscovering his best form and has already netted seven times in the Premier League so far this season.
And Hazard has explained what is different about his role under new boss Conte this season.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea’s website, Hazard said: “I try to go straight at the goal and be decisive for the team.
“I don’t think a lot about it, if I shoot or pass. It’s natural. I try to make the best decision at the best moment and if that is to shoot then I will shoot, otherwise I keep dribbling or make a pass.”
Chelsea beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday to move one point clear at the top of the table.
The west London side take on Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in their next game on Saturday evening.
