Eden Hazard has revealed that he sent a good-luck message to Jose Mourinho following the the manager’s appointment at Manchester United.

The Portuguese coach was appointed as the new man in charge at Old Trafford following his sacking by Chelsea back in December 2015.

Mourinho endured a disastrous end to his Chelsea career after he was fired following a terrible start to the campaign for the then-defending champions.

However, he was not out of work for long, as United moved quickly to bring in Mourinho as the club’s new manager following the sacking of Louis van Gaal in May.

And Chelsea playmaker Hazard has revealed how he wished Mourinho all the best following his appointment as United’s new boss.

Speaking in an interview with Football Focus, as quoted by The Daily Express, Hazard said: “I sent him a message just to say good luck.

“I hope he can win some games. But not too much because we want Chelsea to be champions!

“I want him to be at the top again.”

Chelsea finished 10th and without a trophy last season following Mourinho’s dismissal.
