Ex-Man United man Angel Di Maria: My thoughts on Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil
Angel Di Maria gives his honest take on Mesut Ozil ahead of PSG's trip to Arsenal on Wednesday night
Angel Di Maria has warned his Paris Saint-Germain team-mates that they will have to be at their best if they want to keep Arsenal and Mesut Ozil quiet on Wednesday night.
The French side are preparing to travel to The Emirates for their crunch Champions League clash on Wednesday as both sides battle it out for top spot in their group.
Both PSG and Arsenal have already booked their places in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition but it remains to be seen which team will top the group.
And former Manchester United man Di Maria has admitted that he and his team-mates must be at their best if they want to stop the Gunners from clicking into gear.
Di Maria told Uefa.com: “They are excellent on the counter-attack.
“[Mesut] Ozil is a world-class player, his passing is excellent and he is surrounded by some very fast players.
“However, we have played well in the Champions League this season and we still have two matches left, so we must continue to work hard. Our objective is to top the group.”
Arsenal head into the game looking to return to winning ways after back to back 1-1 draws with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
The Gunners are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table.
