Gary Neville has admitted that he feels pride whenever he sees the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard line up for Manchester United.
The pair have both come through the youth system at Carrington and have done well to break into the first team at Old Trafford given the influx of talented foreign players in recent seasons.
Rashford has earned plenty of new admirers since breaking into the Manchester United team under Louis van Gaal last season, while Lingard has also been given his chance to shine for the Red Devils in midfield.
And former Manchester United defender Neville admits that he has been thrilled to see both players establish themselves in the United team in recent months.
Neville is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “When I see Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard on the pitch, it makes me feel proud that Manchester United can be true to itself and its principles.”
Manchester United are currently gearing up for their crunch clash against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime as they look to make it back to back wins in the top flight.
