Harry Redknapp urges Chelsea to sign two players in January transfer window
Harry Redknapp has his say on the Chelsea squad after the weekend's 2-1 win over Tottenham
Harry Redknapp has suggested that Chelsea should sign at least two new players in the January transfer window.
The Blues continued their fine form in the Premier League on Saturday when they came from a goal down to secure an impressive 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur and keep their place at the top of the Premier League table.
Chelsea have earned plenty of praise for their solid displays in recent weeks, with Antonio Conte’s men now having won their last seven Premier League games on the spin.
The west London side are currently one point clear of second-placed Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
However, Redknapp has expressed his concerns about Chelsea’s strength in depth ahead of the January transfer window.
Speaking on BT Sport’s Premier League Tonight Show, Redknapp said: “I think they’re still short at left back, and I’m not convinced the three at the back can all play enough.
“There’s not a great amount of flare in the middle of the park either.
“Obviously (Eden) Hazard is a fantastic talent who we all love to watch and (Diego) Costa is playing absolutely fantastic.”
