Ian Wright issues blunt warning to Liverpool striker about his future

Ian Wright has warned Daniel Sturridge that he is likely to have to consider his Liverpool future under Jurgen Klopp.
The striker was on target for England in their 3-0 win over Scotland earlier in the month but was again restricted to a substitute appearance in Liverpool’s goalless draw with Southampton on Saturday.
Sturridge has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Liverpool first team this season and has only started four of the Reds’ 12 Premier League games.
His lack of playing time has inevitably sparked suggestions that he could leave the club in search of regular first-team football.
And Arsenal legend Wright had a blunt warning for Sturridge after Saturday’s goalless draw with Southampton.
Wright is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “When you look at it (Coutinho, Firmino and Mane’s globetrotting), if Daniel Sturridge – who has just scored for England and is buzzing – can’t get in the team when those lads have done so many miles, he’s got to start looking at what’s going on for himself in January,

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League table and a point behind new leaders Chelsea after 12 games of the new campaign, which is Klopp’s first full season in charge at Anfield.
