Ian Wright: This new Man United signing is struggling
Ian Wright admits he is yet to be impressed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United this season
Ian Wright has admitted that he is yet to be impressed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United this season.
The Swedish striker joined the Red Devils on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and has been a regular fixture in the first team for Jose Mourinho’s men.
However, Ibrahimovic has come in for criticism after failing to score in recent games for United.
Indeed, the 35-year-old has not found the net in the last five games for United as the Red Devils have struggled to achieve positive results.
And former Arsenal striker Wright has not been impressed by what he has seen from Ibrahimovic so far this term.
Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday, Wright said: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic is struggling. I know he scored at the start of the season but I haven’t seen him play well yet in respect of holding the ball up and linking players.”

Ibrahimovic will be hoping to feature for the Red Devils when they return to Europa League action on Thursday night with a trip to Turkey to take on Fenerbahce.
United trail Premier League leaders Manchester City by eight points.
