Jamie Redknapp delivers verdict on Man United’s title prospects under Jose Mourinho
The former Liverpool midfielder doesn't believe Jose Mourinho knows his best team
Jamie Redknapp says Jose Mourinho still doesn’t know his best Manchester United team in the Premier League title race.
The Red Devils are in sixth place in the Premier League table and six points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal in the race to finish in the Champions League spots.
The 20-time English champions are a further two points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool as Mourinho looks to guide Manchester United to their first title since 2013.
The Red Devils drew 1-1 with Arsenal in the Premier League’s early clash on Saturday afternoon after Olivier Giroud cancelled out Juan Mata’s opening goal at Old Trafford.
Former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp explains the biggest problem with Mourinho and Manchester United in the Premier League title race.
“I think Man United have got it all to do. I’m still struggling to see they’re best team. Considering the personnel they had today, I thought they defended really well,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“They only let Arsenal have one attempt on goal. Mourinho will be delighted with his team. Paul Pogba did some great things and Ander Herrera was my man of the match. Jose has still not got his best 11 in his head.”
Manchester United will host Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United side at Old Trafford next weekend
