Kurt Zouma opens up about John Terry ahead of Chelsea v Tottenham
Kurt Zouma delivers a positive verdict on John Terry ahead of Chelsea's clash with Tottenham
Kurt Zouma has heaped praise on John Terry ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham this weekend.
The French defender is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea’s first-team this season following his serious knee injury.
Zouma will be hoping to prove himself to new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte in the coming weeks as he bids to make himself available for the first team as soon as possible.
Terry, meanwhile, has also been sidelined in recent weeks with injury but is now thought to be approaching full fitness once again.
Both Terry and Zouma played for Chelsea’s U23 team on Monday as the duo stepped up their returns from injuries.
And Zouma had nothing but good things to say about the Blues skipper ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
Zouma is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “The skipper (Terry) is still there, he’s still sharp and in good form.
“He did well (against Southampton Under-23s). It’s very good to get some advice from him.”
