Lee Dixon delivers honest verdict on Arsenal ahead of Bournemouth clash

Lee Dixon has his say on Arsenal's current form ahead of Sunday's clash with Bournemouth

Lee Dixon says there are plenty of positives to take from Arsenal’s start to the season, but admits he still has concerns about Arsene Wenger’s side.

The north London club saw their chances of finishing top of their Champions League group on Wednesday night all but ended when they were held to a 2-2 draw by PSG at The Emirates.

The result marked Arsenal’s third draw in all competitions, with the Gunners not having having lost this season since their opening weekend defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the Premier League.

Dixon believes that Arsenal do deserve praise for their strong performances in recent weeks.

However, the former Arsenal defender still does have concerns about the Gunners’ quality when it matters.

Speaking to ITV Sport on Wednesday night, Dixon said: “It is 18 games unbeaten in all competitions since the start of the season.

“They’re churning results out which is a good sign if you’re not playing well but getting points.

“There is always that thing – you’re not quite sure with Arsenal.”
