Liverpool owner’s wife reacts to 2-0 EFL Cup win over Leeds on Twitter
Linda Henry took to social media after Liverpool's 2-0 EFL Cup win over Leeds United on Tuesday night
Linda Henry took to social media to congratulate Liverpool on their 2-0 win over Leeds United in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night.
After a goalless first half, the Reds took the lead in the 75th minute when Divock Origi broke the deadlock at Anfield for the second game running.
The win was made more special when teenager Ben Woodburn came off the bench to score Liverpool’s second goal and become the club’s youngest-ever goal-scorer, aged 17 years and 45 days.
Liverpool have been in fine form in recent weeks and their win over Leeds followed their victory over Sunderland at Anfield in the Premier League last weekend.
And Linda, John Henry’s wife, was clearly thrilled to see Liverpool progress to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.
