Eden Hazard states his prediction for Man City v Chelsea

Eden Hazard looks ahead to Chelsea's crunch clash with Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime

Eden Hazard is confident that Chelsea have what it takes to beat Manchester City and underline their status as genuine Premier League title contenders this season.

The Blues kept up their impressive form in the Premier League on Saturday night when they came from a goal down to secure a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur and keep their place at the top of the table.

Chelsea are now one point clear of second-placed Liverpool after 13 games of the new season as they look to regain the title this term under new boss Antonio Conte.

The west London side have been in fine form in recent weeks and their win over Spurs was their seventh straight victory in the top flight.

Hazard accepts that Saturday’s showdown will be a tough test for the Blues, but the Belgian is hopeful that Conte’s men can take the three points against the Citizens.

Speaking in an interview with The Telegraph, Hazard said: “We know it’s always difficult to win there.

“They beat Burnley and they have a lot of good players – [Sergio] Aguero and [Kevin] De Bruyne. I hope it will be a good game and if we can win there it will be good.

“We want to keep going like this and we don’t want to stop now. We are full of confidence and we want to win every game.”
