Juan Mata states his prediction for Man United v Arsenal

Juan Mata has his say ahead of Manchester United's crunch clash with Arsenal on Saturday

Juan Mata has warned his Manchester United team-mates that they are in for a tough test when they host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils are preparing to welcome Arsene Wenger’s men to Old Trafford as they look to make it back to back wins in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho watched his Manchester United side secure a 3-1 win over Swansea last time out but the Red Devils still trail Premier League leaders Liverpool by eight points after 11 games.

Arsenal are currently six points ahead of United heading into their trip to Old Trafford.

And Spanish midfielder Mata has talked up the importance of Manchester United claiming all three points against the Gunners at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime.

Writing in his personal blog, Mata said: “All the players from Manchester United will go back home to get ready for a frenetic second half of November: four games in Old Trafford.

“The team is eager to find a good streak and after defeating Swansea we are looking forward to playing Arsenal at the weekend.

“We want to give our best and a good atmosphere at the stadium, as always when we play against Arsenal, can take us one step closer to the victory.

“The top end of the Premier League table is very tight and we are going to work hard to keep a good streak and approach those top spots.”

Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season.
