Matteo Darmian states his prediction for Man United v Feyenoord
Matteo Darmian looks ahead to Manchester United's clash with Feyenoord on Thursday night
Matteo Darmian has warned his Manchester United team-mates to expect a stern test when they host Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League at the weekend.
A victory against the visitors would lift United into the qualification places and leave them needing one point from the final Group A game against Zorya.
However, Darmian has talked up the importance of Thursday’s game following their defeat by Feyenoord in Holland earlier in the season.
Speaking in an interview with MUTV, Darmian said: “I remember [the Feyenoord game in Holland] because it was not a good game for us.
“We have to change this and win our away games, but for now we’re playing at home and maybe that is a little bit easier. We want to win on Thursday and make our fans happy.”
Manchester United are currently nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea after a stuttering start to the season under new boss Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils have struggled to produce consistent performances under their new boss so far this season following his appointment back in May.
