Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to heap praise on his Arsenal team-mates for a battling performance after their 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.

The north London side secured a 3-1 win to lift themselves back into fourth place in the Premier League table and three points behind leaders Chelsea.

It was a hard-fought game, with Arsenal first taking the lead through Alexis Sanchez early on.

However, Callum Wilson levelled from the penalty spot in the first half for the visitors after he was brought down by Nacho Monreal.

Arsenal battled back after the break when Theo Walcott headed in Nacho Monreal’s cross to make it 2-1.

And Sanchez then made the points secure when he tapped home Olivier Giroud’s low pass from close range.

Ozil used his personal Instagram account to reveal his delight after the game and posted an update using his favourite hashtag.

Ozil shared the photo above and wrote: “Job done ✅ 3 points in the bag with some brilliant team goals 💪🏽 🙌🏼 ⚽ #YaGunnersYa #ACE17 #NeverFollow #AFCvBOU @Arsenal”
