Ian Wright states prediction for Middlesbrough v Chelsea

The Arsenal legend is backing Chelsea to ease to victory over Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon

Ian Wright is backing Chelsea to beat Middlesbrough in the Premier League at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Antonio Conte’s are the Premier League’s form club after scoring 16 goals and keeping five clean sheets in their last five top-flight outings to leave Chelsea in second place in the table.

Chelsea have beaten promoted side Hull City, defending champions Leicester City, title rivals Manchester United, Southampton and Everton in their last five Premier League games.

Middlesbrough have been in decent form in recent weeks – too, after securing credible draws with Arsenal and Manchester City on the road as well as a close-fought home win against Bournemouth.

Former Arsenal striker Wright is backing Chelsea to ease to a comfortable victory over Middlesbrough in the Premier League at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

“I am going to go for a Chelsea win. Boro were very fortunate against Manchester City,” Wright told The Sun Goals app.

Chelsea haven’t lost a Premier League game since a 3-0 defeat by title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
