The Arsenal forward posts determined Instagram message

Alexis Sanchez is in no mood to give up on his dreams of winning silverware with Arsenal this season ahead of the visit of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

The Gunners failed to capitalise on Manchester United’s poor form on Saturday afternoon as Arsenal drew 1-1 with Jose Mourinho’s struggling side at Old Trafford.

The north London side managed to rescue a point after second-half substitute Olivier Giroud cancelled out Juan Mata’s opener.

Arsene Wenger’s side have been criticised for their disappointing performance ahead of the visit of Ligue 1 holders PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

However, Sanchez posted a defiant message on his Instagram page:

“if you give up today, all the effort from yesterday means nothing! Have a good monday! 😉”

PSG and Arsenal drew 1-1 in France in September after Sanchez equalised for the visitors after Edinson Cavani had scored just 44 seconds in – Paris’ fastest-ever Champions League goal. Marco Verratti and Giroud were sent off in added time.

Wenger’s record against clubs from his home country with the Gunners is W11 D5 L3.
