Granit Xhaka has taken to social media to insist that there were plenty of positives for Arsenal to take from their 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday.

The north London side struggled to gain a foothold in the game for much of the clash at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s men dominated proceedings.

Indeed, the home side looked like they were on course to claim victory when Juan Mata drilled home an opener in the 68th minute.

However, Arsenal had the final say when Olivier Giroud came off the bench to head home an equaliser and earn a valuable point for the Gunners.

Xhaka was a second-half substitute at Old Trafford and admitted his disappointment at not claiming victory.

However, the midfielder shared the picture above on his Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “This was not the result that we expected, but at least we are still unbeaten for 17 matches. Time to focus on the next match. ★★★ ⚓#GX29 @Premier League @AFC Arsenal #SlayTheNextGiant #UnderArmour”
