Granit Xhaka has sent a message to Arsenal supporters ahead of their home clash against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The Switzerland international moved to the Gunners from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer transfer window.
Xhaka has scored once in nine Premier League games for the north London club since his big-money switch to The Emirates.
The Gunners midfielder was a second-half substitute in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend.
Xhaka came off the bench in their 2-2 draw with Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Swiss midfielder posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“👉A true fighter will always fight, last training before the game against bournemouth. ★★★ ⚓#GX29 @Premier League @m10_official @AFC Arsenal @borurnemouth #IWILL#UnderArmour”
Arsenal have failed to win their last two Premier League games following stalemates with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners finished in second place in the top-flight table last term and 10 points behind champions Leicester City.
