Jose Mourinho took to social media on Saturday night to reflect on Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

The Portuguese coach watched his side take the lead against the Gunners thanks to Juan Mata’s 68th-minute goal at Old Trafford as they dominated much of the game.

However, Mourinho’s men were pegged back right at the death when Olivier Giroud came off the bench to head home an equaliser for the north London side.

It ended up being a frustrating afternoon for the Red Devils, who will have felt that they did enough to win the game.

However, Mourinho used his personal Instagram account to reveal that he was cheered up by a phone call from Argentina legend Diego Maradona after the game.

Mourinho shared the picture above on the app and wrote the caption: “After a great performance but a bad result i had a phone call from king diego..gracias amigo.with you, with my family, with other friends, with my players and with utd amazing supporters…monday i will be ready again!!!”
