Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward was in fine form with Palace owner Steve Parish and Spurs legend Gary Lineker
Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward joined Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish and Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker for drinks on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils have endured a tough start to the 2016-17 season so far after Jose Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor in May.
The new Manchester United boss signed four players in the summer transfer window as the club’s supremo Woodward oversaw deals for Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
However, the 20-time English champions have shown no real signs of improvement under their new manager and Manchester United are in sixth place and 11 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Woodward looked to be having a good time with Palace chairman and owner Parish, as well as Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker and Eastenders actor Jake Wood.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption: “Boys birthday bash”
Manchester United will take on West Ham United in their EFL Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night.
